# Camina privacy policy

> Last updated August 2026. This is the plain-language policy for Camina's public site and iMessage food-tracking service.

## What Camina collects

Camina stores the messages and photos a user sends; food, calorie, and macro records derived from them; the profile and targets a user chooses to provide; and one bounded first-touch source code when a marked start link is used. A valid source marker is removed before conversation storage. Public-site analytics measure page use and performance, and acquisition pages may measure when someone opens the Messages handoff.

## How Camina uses and shares data

The data is used to estimate and log meals, coach over time, remember useful context, operate and improve the public experience, measure first-message advertising conversions, and provide support. Camina does not sell personal information or create a generic funnel-event history. Data is shared only with service providers needed for messaging, AI, hosting, databases, media storage, analytics, and support, or when required by law. Advertising measurement never includes message, photo, food, profile, goal, weight, or target content.

## Choices and contact

Text STOP to opt out of messages. Email [help@heycamina.com](mailto:help@heycamina.com) to request access, correction, archive, or deletion. Requests are handled by a human. Linq cannot unsend messages already delivered to a recipient's devices, and infrastructure logs and backups follow their own retention windows.
